We have over 45 years of experience and can handle any job. Our group has designed, sold, and built over 1000 pools, all in metro Atlanta. At Custom Pools of Atlanta, the focus is on creating a relationship that transcends the completion of your pool. It is about making sure the customer is completely satisfied, both during and after project completion. Having grown up in Atlanta and been a resident for 53 years, I am deeply rooted in the community. Currently residing in Sandy Springs, GA, my local knowledge and commitment to excellence continue to drive the success of our projects. Each pool we craft is a testament to our experience, dedication, and the enduring legacy of our commitment to Atlanta’s outdoor living.

With a career spanning back to 1983, I embarked on a journey in the pool industry that has shaped my life and passion. Beginning in Atlanta, GA, I worked for a local builder, immersing myself in hands-on construction, supervision, marketing, and, eventually, ownership roles. Over 41 years, I evolved alongside the dynamic housing and pool market, becoming a change agent by diversifying our products to meet the industry’s evolving demands.
In my pursuit of excellence, I recognized the need for a boutique swimming pool builder that could cater to Atlanta’s sophisticated and discerning clientele. This vision led me to establish a company in 2008 that allows for precise control over quality and customer experience. As an industry innovator, my inspiration comes from the ability to shape the company’s vision and the experiences of our valued customers.
In 2018, I recognized the need to offer our customers a full suite of services to create an even more seamless experience, efficiencies, and value. We created an in-house landscape, hardscape, and lighting division that continues to grow alongside the skilled individuals who service our clientele.

My passion is taking designs from concept to reality, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations. I thrive on master planning outdoor spaces, leveraging my horticulture, landscape, hardscape, lighting, and irrigation expertise. Vision and execution are seamlessly handled in-house under my guidance, emphasizing a commitment to elevating our customer’s lifestyles.

With a foundation laid at the State University School of New York (SUNY) in Cobleskill, NY, I earned both my BA Degree and Masters in Environmental Science. Specialized courses in landscape construction and architecture gave me the education and skills to pursue the career I was so passionate about. Concurrently, I ventured into teaching at the university, enriching both my experience and goals.
Relocating to Atlanta, I honed my skills with various landscape companies before carving my path in 2000. For 18 years, I successfully ran and managed my landscape business until 2018, when a transformative opportunity arose. The chance to merge my venture with Custom Pools of Atlanta materialized, allowing me to actualize my goal—designing and participating in the construction of holistic outdoor projects. This union created an in-house landscape division for Custom Pools of Atlanta, providing our pool clients a comprehensive suite of outdoor living services.

I am a resident of Ballground, GA, having called the Atlanta area home since 1995—over 29 years. My approach centers on spending time, listening attentively, and guiding clients toward outdoor spaces that meet their needs and enrich their lives.
